A. Anderson is the mother of two boys.  She decided to write these books to fulfill a need for research, sharing of others' experiences, interviews with doctors and introspection about having children with food allergies.  She wrote these books to provide others what she would have liked to had when her children were first diagnosed.  Specifically, positive, research-based, interview-filled with creative ways to navigate the world with food allergic children.
